Description
On Thursday November 8th, 2018 a fire started in the Santa Susana Field Laboratory property. Southern California Edison reported an outage and minutes later at 2:24 p.m. a brush fire was reported. I had just turned in a project and was sitting in my Math class in La Mirada when I got a notification about the fire on my phone, I checked twitter and saw that the fire was only a few miles from my house and was spreading fast. After the class was over I packed my bag and grabbed my camera and headed home.
This is the story of how my house almost burned down.
